Functions

1. To be responsible for building clean government, combating corruption and inspecting government administration in the Ministry of Commerce.

2. To carry out education on Party disciplines so as to raise the Party members and cadres’ consciousness of abiding by laws and regulations.

3. To inspect the implementation status of Party lines, principles, policies and resolutions, and make decisions to maintain the disciplines of the Party.

4. To carry out work about leaders and cadres’ being clean, honest and self-disciplined, and supervise them to be clean and honest; to supervise the Party committees at the same level and at lower levels; and to supervise and inspect the selection and assignment of cadres.

5. To accept reports and complaints, and do well on work about mass’s letters and calls; to inspect and deal with violation cases of disciplines, rules and regulations, to decide or cancel the punishment to the Party members in these cases; to receive the reports and complaints from the Party members; and to protect the democratic rights of the Party members from being infringed.

6. To promote the construction of the Discipline Inspection Team of the Ministry of Commerce.

7. To execute other assignments designated by the higher Party organizations and the discipline supervision and investigation departments.
